Meadowbank Holidays Ltd Access Statement (Grove Farm Meadow)

At Meadowbank Holidays we strive to make the holiday booking experience convenient and informative for all of our potential customers. For this reason we have published the following statement which hopefully will assist you in deciding whether our park meets your particular access requirements. Clearly this is a complex and varied subject and we apologise if our statement does not cover your particular requirement. This statement is applicable to our Grove Farm Meadow Holiday Park Only.

Park Grounds

Our holiday park is in the main level with well mown grass and is serviced by good quality level tarmac roads with tarmac parking bays. The park is lit at night however this is intentionally not too intrusive so as to be in keeping with our David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award status. Access to the riverbank is stepped over a substantial flood bank and we would recommend that it is accessible to customers with good all-round mobility only.

Reception (Accommodation and Touring)

Our reception is spacious and level and allows convenient wheelchair access. It is well lit and access to the reception desk is clear and free from potential obstacles. At present we do not have a hearing induction loop system fitted however we are looking to address this in the future.

Touring

Our touring pitches are flat and spacious with next door parking. Our touring amenity block has ramped access. We currently do not have a wheelchair accessible shower. We do have a wheelchair accessible toilet with fixed handrail and appropriate level basin.

Accommodation

Our accommodation is provided in high quality holiday caravans which are sited in flat un-obstructed positions. Most holiday homes  have stepped access with sturdy handrails and are consequently not suitable for full wheelchair access.

We do provide one holiday home with ramped access and wheelchair accessible doors measurements as follows: Main door 750 mm, Internal doors to shower room and master bedroom 710 mm.  Shower has wall hung seat but is not fully wheelchair accessible. Toilet is equipped with hand rails and basin is set at an appropriate height. Lounge and kitchen are all wheelchair accessible. We would recommend that assistance is required when accessing the holiday home via the ramp and the small ridge of the main door threshold.

Shop

Our shop is well lit and has shallow ramped access. Once inside floor is flat unobstructed and wheelchair accessible.

Launderette

The launderette has stepped access. It is well lit and uncluttered.

Games Room

The games room is well lit and wheelchair accessible

Assistance Dogs

Whilst we do not accept pets on our park. We do accept fully trained assistance dogs when accompanying the person requiring the assistance.
